Donate food
Our foodbank relies on your goodwill and support.
Over 90% of the food distributed by foodbanks in the Trussell Trust network is donated by the public – that’s why your food donations are absolutely vital to our ability to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious three day supply of food.
At Grantham Foodbank, we also receive regular donations of food items from small and medium businesses operating in and around the local area. These donations support the food bank with a steady supply of much needed items on an ongoing basis. Grantham Foodbank can also welcomes ad-hoc donations from local businesses on a one-off or semi-regular basis.
Our shopping lists in the panes to the right show the items that we urgently need right now, items we have an ongoing general need for, as well as items that might not automatically spring to mind when thinking of a food bank.
Donations can be made at the food bank or various food drop-off points across Grantham and neighbouring areas as shown in the table below.

Occasionally we send food to other nearby foodbanks to support their work particularly if they experience shortages. This ensures your donations go to help people wherever in the UK they are.
