Grantham Foodbank is launching a new outreach programme, inviting local businesses, schools, churches and community groups to arrange a visit from our Operations Coordinator.
Our food bank provides emergency food and support to local people facing crisis. Strong relationships with local businesses, community organisations and regular donors are an important part of achieving these goals.
To learn more about the work we do, we’re inviting local businesses, schools, churches and community groups to arrange a visit from Operations Coordinator, Dorothy Gaughan.
Dorothy is as an active member of the local community who can share an insight into the vital work of the food bank and explain how local organisations can get involved.
Planning a Harvest Appeal?
Harvest is an ideal opportunity to arrange an outreach session and is a popular time for schools and community groups to engage with the food bank.
Our outreach sessions can be delivered on-site and can be tailored to children of different ages, explaining what the food bank does and how young people can help.
We can also visit local businesses and organisations to speak with adults about the work of the food bank and how they can support people in their local community.
Whether you are planning a Harvest collection, looking for a speaker or simply want to learn more, get in touch to request an outreach session.
