Visiting us for the first time might feel unfamiliar, but you can expect a straightforward and welcoming experience here at Grantham Foodbank.

Our service is designed to be practical, respectful, and focused on meeting your needs in a supportive environment.

Food bank collections take place on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 1pm to 3pm. When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by a member of the team. They will ask to see your referral voucher, and may request identification, so it’s a good idea to bring this with you if possible.

Your food parcel will be prepared with your circumstances in mind, including the reason for your referral and your household size. The aim is to provide items that are useful and suitable for you.

At busy times, there may be a short wait. Seating is available in the café area, offering a comfortable place to sit while your parcel is prepared. If you have any dietary requirements or specific preferences, team members are available to talk through options and let you know what is currently in stock.

If you don’t have access to full cooking facilities, this can be taken into account when preparing your parcel. Simply mention this to a member of the team when you arrive.

Our aim is to ensure we make the parcel collection process clear, efficient, and respectful for everyone attending. You can find out more about our client and donor opening times here.
