Grantham Foodbank was delighted to take part in a special Store Dash facilitated by Snappy Shopper on Wednesday 27th May. The event, marking the launch of a new Snappy Shopper service in Great Gonerby, Grantham, was held at the Premier on Great Gonerby’s High Street.
As part of the Supermarket Sweep-style challenge, participants were given 60 seconds to collect as many items as possible.
Representing the charity, Dorothy, Grantham Foodbank Coordinator, took on the challenge with a clear mission in mind: focusing on gathering items currently low in stock at the food bank.
With determination and speed, Dorothy managed to collect an impressive 60 items in just 60 seconds. As she powered through the store, Dorothy gathered products that complemented the current selection of items available at the food bank, helping to provide greater choice and variety within recipients’ food parcels.
Dorothy expressed her heartfelt gratitude and said she was delighted that the Snappy Shopper team had reached out to give the food bank the opportunity to take part in the event.
The food bank would like to extend a huge thank you to Snappy Shopper and Premier Great Gonerby for their generosity and support. Events like this highlight the incredible power of a local community working together, proving that even a single minute can make a lasting difference.
